Saint Michel Island in Erquy

Erquy, sur les Côtes d’Armor en Bretagne, possède un îlot accessible à pied à marée basse. La légende locale parlait d’un trésor caché dans la chapelle, perdu lors d’une tempête. Que ce soit vu du ciel ou des plages d’Erquy cet îlot avec sa jolie petite chapelle est superbe et reste à découvrir.

Erquy, on the Côtes d’Armor in Brittany, has an islet accessible on foot at low tide. The local legend spoke of a treasure hidden in the chapel, lost during a storm. Whether seen from the sky or from the beaches of Erquy this islet with its pretty little chapel is superb and remains to be discovered.

Au moyen âge la protection des villes était faite de hautes murailles qui ceinturaient les habitations. A Guérande c’est 1,43 km de remparts qui protègent la cité Médiévale ! La cité de Guérande est une des rares à avoir conservé l’intégralité de ses remparts. A découvrir et visiter, c’est en Loire Atlantique mais à l’origine c’est une cité Bretonne.

In the Middle Ages the protection of the cities was made of high walls that would surround the dwellings. In Guérande it is 1.43 km of ramparts that protect the medieval city! The city of Guérande is one of the few to have preserved all its ramparts. To discover and visit, it is in the Loire Atlantique but originally it’s a Breton city.

From green to blue part 2

Sur les bords du lac de Sanguinet dans les Landes, non loin du Bassin d’Arcachon et de Biscarosse, les eaux vertes passent au bleu tout le long du lac.

On the lakesides of Sanguinet in Landes, not far from the Bay of Arcachon and of Biscarosse, green waters pass in the blue all along the lake.
