Au cap Ferret les plages sont très variées, d’un côté les plages de l’Océan avec les vagues, le surf et l’air marin et de l’autre coté du Cap les plages du Bassin d’Arcachon bien plus calmes.

Au Cap Ferret il y a d’un côté l’océan et ses plages, et de l’autre, côté bassin d’Arcachon, des « champs » immenses de culture d’huitres, bien visibles vu d’oiseau, des bassins ostréicoles, qui font la réputation de Lège Cap ferret.

La villa Algérienne du village de l’Herbe au Cap ferret n’est plus visible car elle a été détruite dans les années 60, mais il reste la chapelle Algérienne au style inattendu sur le Bassin d’Arcachon qui en fait une curiosité architecturale à voir lors de vacances sur le Bassin d’Arcachon.
la villa Algérienne datait du second Empire, construite en 1865 par l’architecte qui a construit le port d’Alger Léon Lesca, désigné comme » l’inventeur » du Cap ferret.
