Bastion avancé face aux remparts de Saint Malo, il en assurait la défense, construit en 1689 sur des plans de Vauban, il n’a jamais été pris, sauf lors de la 2eme guerre mondiale par les Allemands, érigé sur des rochers il n’est accessible à pied que à marée basse. Bastion moved forward in front of saint Malo’s ramparts, he assured the defense, builds in 1689 on plans of Vauban, he was never taken, only during the 2eme world war by the Germans, set up on rocks he is accessible on foot only in low tide.
