La route de la Corniche d’Or longe le massif de l’Esterel entre Saint Raphaël et Mandelieu.
Elle a été construite en 1900 – 1903 grâce au Touring club de France et à la compagnie des chemins de fer de Paris à Lyon et à la Méditerranée.
C’est avec la route Nationale 7 les deux routes principales qui desservent Cannes, Nice, Monaco et le reste des Alpes Martimes.
The road of Corniche d’Or runs along the massif of Esterel between saint Raphaël and Mandelieu.
The road was built in 1900 – 1903 due to the Touring Club de France and to the company of the railroads from Paris to Lyon and in the Mediterranean Sea.
It’ s with the road 7 both main roads which serve Cannes, Nice, Monaco and the rest of the Alpes Martimes.
